In the Lower Mission neighbourhood, a restored 1920s dairy barn once belonging to the Surtees family has found new life as a community gathering place. This heritage building retains its original character, featuring a high vaulted loft, antique details, and a fireplace that keeps the space warm during the winter months. It is here that Barn Owl Brewing crafts its small-batch beers, drawing residents to a historic corner of Kelowna.

The outdoor area includes a dog-friendly patio, while the indoor space regularly hosts live music performances. Without an in-house kitchen, the venue partners with local food trucks to provide dining options for patrons. The focus remains on maintaining a relaxed, neighbourhood-oriented space where people can gather over local pints.
