About Kelowna Paddle Centre
Active water sports enthusiasts gather along the Abbott Street shoreline to access the water. The Kelowna Paddle Centre provides structured programs, equipment rentals, and direct beach access for paddling on the cold waters of Okanagan Lake. Members and public guests can reserve paddleboards or kayaks to travel along the scenic coastlines.
Instructional lessons help participants refine their paddling techniques under guided supervision. The facility operates daily, opening at 9:00 AM throughout the week to accommodate early morning paddlers and closing at 7:30 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, the doors close at 6:00 PM.
