Kerry Park
This paved public square on Mill Street features a lakeside stage for free outdoor concerts and an Ogopogo statue.
About Kerry Park
Walking along the downtown waterfront promenade brings pedestrians directly past the "Spirit of the Sail" sculpture. This prominent white structure acts as a visual anchor for Kerry Park, a paved public square that connects Mill Street to the edge of Okanagan Lake. Just steps away, a green Ogopogo statue provides a tangible representation of the n'ha-a-itk water spirit from syilx/Okanagan Nation traditions.
The grounds feature a dedicated performance stage that hosts free outdoor concerts and community events throughout the warmer months. Tiered concrete steps and wooden benches face the water, giving people a place to sit and watch the boats navigate the nearby marina. Operating as a primary pedestrian corridor, the space remains open daily from early morning until late evening.
