Downtown Taprooms & Menus
The northern edge of downtown has traded its industrial roots for a tight cluster of craft beverage producers. This grid of streets is where you go for chef-driven menus and natural light. It gets busy on warm summer evenings as people walk between tasting rooms before heading to the nearby lakeshore.
You can see this culinary focus at Vice & Virtue Brewing Co.. The room is full of greenery, and they pour small-batch beers alongside a proper wine list. The food menu stands on its own, making it a reliable stop for dinner rather than just a quick pint.
