About KF Centre for Excellence
Built right alongside the runway at the city's international airport, the KF Centre for Excellence operates as an aviation museum and event space. The building itself takes the shape of an airplane and uses extensive mass timber in its construction.
Inside, the hangar floors hold a rotating collection of restored vintage aircraft. Guests can walk around classic planes like the de Havilland Mosquito and Douglas DC-3. Historical displays trace the development of the aerospace industry in the Okanagan valley.
Large viewing windows face directly onto the active tarmac. The facility operates from Tuesday to Saturday, closing on Sundays and Mondays.
