Geert Maas Sculpture Gardens and Gallery

Tucked into a residential Kelowna neighbourhood off Highway 97, the Geert Maas Sculpture Gardens and Gallery occupies a rural property surrounded by orchards. The outdoor space functions as an open-air museum displaying dozens of bronze figures cast by the Dutch-born artist. These rounded, stylized shapes stand among mature trees and manicured lawns, contrasting with the agricultural environment of the Okanagan Valley.

Inside the main building, the exhibition continues with two-dimensional works and smaller three-dimensional pieces. The indoor rooms hold acrylic paintings, medallions, and clay reliefs that map out the artist's stylistic progression over several decades.

Visitors walk the grounds at their own pace. The property provides an alternative to the busy downtown core, allowing guests to view a substantial body of work in a quiet setting.
