About Kelowna Art Gallery
The downtown cultural district houses a major public institution focused on visual arts. Four primary exhibition spaces display a mix of regional, national, and international works. The permanent collection holds over eight hundred pieces, heavily emphasizing Canadian contemporary artists and historical Okanagan landscapes.
Patrons visiting the Kelowna Art Gallery will find programming that changes throughout the year. Thursday evenings feature extended hours until 8:00 PM, giving people extra time to view the latest installations after regular work schedules.
An outdoor courtyard provides a physical transition between the main indoor halls. The facility also runs hands-on workshops and educational classes in dedicated studio spaces, supporting visual literacy for residents of the region.
