SilverStar Mountain Resort
This North Okanagan winter resort features diverse ski slopes and a village at the base.
About SilverStar Mountain Resort
A short drive north of Kelowna brings skiers and snowboarders to the slopes of the Monashee Mountains. The terrain at SilverStar Mountain Resort covers thousands of skiable acres, featuring a mix of groomed beginner runs, steep glades, and a dedicated backside area for advanced riders. Snow conditions here often consist of dry, light powder that holds up well throughout the winter season.
The main village sits mid-way up the mountain, meaning guests can strap on their gear and ski right down to the lifts. Buildings along the pedestrian-only Main Street feature bright yellow, pink, and blue facades inspired by a nineteenth-century mining town. During the warmer months, the snow melts to reveal an extensive network of downhill mountain bike trails and alpine hiking routes.
