Summerhill Pyramid Winery
This organic hillside winery on Chute Lake Road features a large grey replica of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
About Summerhill Pyramid Winery
This hillside estate in Kelowna's Upper Mission district has spent decades focusing on organic and biodynamic viticulture. The property is defined by its commitment to ecological farming, avoiding synthetic chemicals to grow grapes that reflect the local soil. Visitors can walk the grounds to see the vineyard rows sloping down toward Okanagan Lake.
At the centre of the operation is a large, grey replica of the Great Pyramid of Giza, built to align with the stars. Summerhill Pyramid Winery uses this structure to age its sparkling and still wines, operating on the belief that the geometry affects the liquid. Tastings and cellar tours run daily from late morning until early evening.
