About Tantalus Vineyards
Planted initially in 1927, the site at 1670 DeHart Road holds some of the oldest continuously producing vines in the Okanagan Valley. The agricultural focus here remains tightly centred on Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay.
Inside the main building, guests taste through current releases surrounded by contemporary Canadian art. Tantalus Vineyards operates out of a LEED-certified facility designed with environmental sustainability in mind. Large windows face down the slopes, providing clear sightlines over the vines toward the lake.
The tasting room opens daily from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Patrons can purchase bottles directly from the estate, which functions as both a working farm and a retail liquor store.
