02The Story

Small family wineries on the east bench

Orchard roads above the city, ten minutes from downtown, with a quieter pace.

The East Kelowna Wine Trail is the smallest and quietest of the routes: about 3 km of orchard country on the bench above the city.

Its 3 wineries are The View Winery & Vineyard, SpearHead Winery and Priest Creek Family Estate Winery. They are family-run, the tasting rooms are rarely crowded, and the views run back over Kelowna to the lake.

Because the stops are so close together, East Kelowna is easy to add to the Lakeshore route, or to do on its own in a couple of hours.

Book ahead on summer weekends, or let a local tour operator such as Après Tours handle the route and the driving.
