02The Story

Terraced vineyards between two lakes

Lake Country's Scenic Sip loop packs ten wineries into one tight, easy drive.

The Scenic Sip is the Lake Country wine route, north of Kelowna, where the vineyards climb terraced slopes between Okanagan Lake and Wood Lake.

There are 10 wineries on the loop: Ancient Hill Winery, Blind Tiger Vineyards, Ex Nihilo Vineyards & Tasting Room, Arrowleaf Cellars, Gray Monk Estate Winery, 99 Rows Venue and Vine, Peak Cellars, Intrigue Wines, O'Rourke Family Estate and 50th Parallel Estate Winery. Most sit minutes apart, so a full day can take in four or five without long drives.

The views are the draw here: patios look over vineyards to the water, and the loop is close to the airport, which makes it an easy first or last stop on a trip.

Book tastings ahead in summer. Après Tours and the other local operators run Lake Country days, so nobody has to drive.
