Crawford Falls

Tucked into the Southwest Mission neighbourhood, the trail to Crawford Falls begins at the end of Canyon Falls Court. The path follows Bellevue Creek through a wooded ravine. While the initial walk is relatively flat, the terrain quickly changes as hikers approach the canyon edge.

Reaching the base of the lower and upper cascades requires navigating steep dirt embankments. Ropes are tied to trees along the sharpest drops to help with balance. Proper footwear with heavy tread is necessary here, as the loose dirt gets slippery after rain or during dry summer spells.

The lower falls drop about six metres over a rocky ledge. Further up the creek, the second waterfall is slightly taller. Both spots offer a cool, shaded environment away from the direct Okanagan sun.
