About Knox Mountain Park
Knox Mountain Park is a City of Kelowna park on the north edge of downtown, with trails for hiking and mountain biking and views over Okanagan Lake. Mountain biking is allowed on designated trails only, and the City works with Mountain Bikers of the Central Okanagan on trail planning and upkeep.
Park at the base of the park by the Ellis Street entrance, or in the overflow lot off Poplar Point Drive. In the frost-free season, Knox Mountain Drive is open to cars up to the First Lookout from noon to 8 pm.
The trails are shared. Yield to hikers, slow down near groups and stay off the trails when they are wet. E-bikes are allowed on Knox Mountain Drive only, not on the trails.
