Kuipers’ Peak Mountain Park

Tucked into the residential streets of the Upper Mission, Kuipers’ Peak Mountain Park provides a quick outdoor workout. The trail network is relatively short but features a sharp incline over rocky terrain. Hikers who make the ascent reach a prominent viewpoint overlooking the water and the surrounding valley.

The natural space is maintained by the city and remains open around the clock. Early morning climbers often arrive to watch the sunrise, while evening walkers use the vantage point to photograph the city lights.

Vegetation along the path consists of native grasses and ponderosa pines, typical of the dry Okanagan environment. Hikers should wear sturdy footwear to navigate the loose gravel sections near the summit.
