Lochview Trail

Built into the hillsides above Okanagan Lake, this route provides a steady climb through pine trees and dry brush. The path begins off Lochview Road, leading walkers along the western edge of Kelowna. As elevation increases, the tree cover breaks to reveal clear sightlines across the water.

Navigating Lochview Trail requires sturdy footwear due to loose gravel and uneven dirt sections. The route features a mix of shaded segments and exposed stretches that catch the afternoon sun. Hikers often use the path for daily exercise, completing the out-and-back route in under two hours.

Access is available daily between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The trailhead sits at the end of a residential street, requiring visitors to park carefully along the designated roadside areas before starting their walk.
