About Rose Valley Regional Park
Rose Valley Regional Park in West Kelowna has rugged multi-use singletrack over volcanic bluffs, forested plateaus and grasslands. The riding suits intermediate riders: punchy climbs, rocky features and steep drop-offs, with no built stunts.
The park is recovering from the 2023 McDougall Creek wildfire, and only the Phase 1 trails are open. Check the Regional District of Central Okanagan for the current status, and respect every sign and barrier. Most trails are not signed, so ride with a trail map.
Park on Westlake Road across from the fire hall near Rose Valley Elementary, or at Rosewood Drive and Rosewood Lane, which has a bike cleaning station. The park protects the Rose Valley Reservoir, a drinking-water source, so stay on the trails. It is day-use only, and the trails are shared with hikers.
